My guys dominated the first half and perhaps Whatamidoinghere gave his lads the hairdryer treatment at HT as they came out roaring, whereas my guys looked bloated and slow. I forgot to limit my tactics yesterday when I was out of reach so a few of my players were 2-3% more tired than Whatam's. Not a huge difference, but it was why I never switched to 100% effort, knowing I probably couldn't even get 15 good minutes out of my guys. Whatamidoinghere has his defense positioned so well it was really hard to get any shot away. It would have been dead as a contest by half time if standing in the way wasn't such a strong tactic! In the second half, FINAL SOUND taught me a lesson in counter attacking. I was a little embarrassed to have scored the 3rd goal as I didn't deserve it, so I was almost relieved when he went straight down the other end and levelled the tie. I don't count penalty wins, so I am calling this a nervy draw for both of us, with a possibility that the game could have gone either way. We can both learn a lot from this game. I need to look at being more effective late in the game and Whatam should probably work out why he was out of the game in the first half. Great game, all credit to the opposition, a great opponent. Rematch in just less than 3 weeks. |

I always give you respect with post match conference of yours, you let the both teams know their weakens likewise where they strong... Whatami is also a good manager so painful havn't watch the game yet. |
