Sambizzy mightn't have had the best violations record during his time in the PL, but it wasn't through his own desire to put anybody out. He is a genuinely good guy, a great training partner, and a wise adversary when it comes to tactics - we shared a lot of advice over the years, and he helped me a great deal in getting my forwards to hit the target more (just don't look at my weekend strike rate)! With his departure we say goodbye to an Olympian, a gent, and a friend. Best of luck, Sam. |
