Not really, actually, in fact my boyhood team was Manchester United before I started to become drawn to lower-league football! Saying that, I have a deep respect for Stevie G. I honestly can't think of a better captain anywhere in European football over the last 15 years, and I don't say that lightly. There may have been better talismen, better marketing figureheads and better players, but as a real captain this man is like someone from the MH books I read as a kid. This is probably because I have, if anything, always underrated Liverpool as a whole, as I think that Gerrard has so often been the difference, more than so many players of his ability might ordinarily have to expect in their career. Hats off to a great player. |

Hats off to a great player. I am disappointed that Liverpool couldn't find their way to sign Gerrard to a contract so that he could retire a Red. For what he has given the club, the Miracle in Istanbul, turning down transfer opportunities, it is just a damned shame. At least I will get to see him play in L.A. I'll hang a Gerrard Galaxy jersey next to my Gerrard Liverpool and England jerseys. And maybe if we are lucky, he'll lift the MLS trophy. |

After a long search for better trainers, i end up loaning some players out to teams with lower coach% or to managers who are good at creating false training/coach stats inorder to get the player...
