Dammit! A goal at 91 mins means I lost a very tight game today. I don't think I deserved nothing out of the contest, but anyway. I have been in the red recently, so I found out something I did not know before. I ran the doctor on Friday, when I was in the black, and had injured players. He finished on Monday, by which time I had no cash to pay him. So, the injured players did not go down by 3/4 weeks, but will stay the same 3 days longer. I've never been in the red for that long (maybe in Div 6), so had no idea it would be like that. So, my team is not as it could be, and my defense are tired following a good sale, albeit at the price of stamina. Trying to cover this, my team have started this game and yesterday's close friendly loss v ronnie in less than perfect shape. It's not so much of an excuse, but by 70 mins my guys are spent, so it's tough to compete after that. I look forward to being out of the cup, having the finances to buy the player I need, and having a fully-fit squad to choose from. Good luck everyone else. Edited by sicox86 29-10-2014 15:29 |
