Is there any point to either Aerial Play or Penalty Shots? Are they better than the alternatives? If the CDF training regimen is Int Passes Clearing Tackling Running Running w Ball and a RF/CF/LW training regimen is Dribbling shots on goal Attack Headers Crossing Beating Markers Sprint It seems to me that aerial play and penalty shots are a wasted training day and a wasted stat increase of the player, when compared to the alternatives above.. thoughts? Edited by Buckeye623 26-07-2014 04:44 Aerial Play is used by Xbs trainers' Penalty Shot is good when your FWD is training on low, and it trains leadership... Pros of Leadership: It gives skills Con : too much leadership reduces players "much needed stats" esp. In 50 - 79avg players... |

Aerial play trains LDF, CDF and RDF, not LB/RB. It trains up technique and aggressiveness quite nicely. I use it only a couple times a month, so not so often in comparison to some other CDF training disciplines, but it's certainly not a waste. |
