I know alot have already forgotten his header. Now everyone is shouting Ronald. It was SEGRIO RAMOS that scored the winning goal of that game than no other. If not for his marvelous end-time header it should have ended 1 - nil against them. Times was out. The tension was blazing. Diego Simone had gone it again, ALMOST till that goal came. Ramos deserves the man of the match cos he score just at final whistle to equalize the score meanwhile REAL dominated through out the normal game time but couldn't find the net. I agree ramos for top dog, but I would say marcelo and di maria closely follow for real both was always picking at the defence of athletico but I do believe they played better as athletico defence was concentrating more on the expensive CR and Bale, Godin was by far the best player for athletico not about the goal as it was a bit of a fluke, he seemed to be everywhere in defence. |

Di Maria was without a shadow of a doubt the best player on that pitch, Ramos may have started it all with a cracking header but Di Maria was dangerous all night. If you're making a case for Ramos then you may aswell make a case for Bale for getting the 2nd which got them the win and started a barrage of goals by Real. Also, Atl were quite clearly the better team for 80 minutes, Real had a couple of chances which were brought upon by mistakes from Atl which they wasted but other than that they were very average and had about 9 players underperforming.
