As far as I'm concerned, though, any non-member who wishes to be allowed to post here free of being harangued by me (and others) must get the clearance from myself, ronnie, or Ali. The exception is the market part, which has, let's call it a fair use policy. It does provide a service, but I won't have it being spammed by non-members. Some may think this seems unnecessary, but my view is that it works both ways. The aim here is for Ali, ronnie, and myself to offer some kind of pastoral care to the members, and part of this means we shouldn't have to put up with shit from some of the game's serial shit talkers, while promoting healthy discussion among our own members. This also extends to members being spammed, for whatever reason, by private message. The three of us aim to take your case to the @s so you don't have to. They may wish to speak to you, but the three of us have experience in dealing with them in this way and can try our best to get the result you want if you are unsure of what to do or who to approach. |
