From the Alpha server.... "Hi strikers, The market in the new Striker presents several notable differences. - Signing players by paying hostile clause disappears. The only way to sign a player will be via auctions or transfer agreements. - Players have a public "market value". The value of a player is shown in the player's profile, you can only purchase or sell the player respecting this value by paying a amount close to that value. Therefore, the minimum value set is the 80% of his market price and the maximum value will be 120% of his market price. To calculate the market value of the position we will consider some different features: age/average/progression. This value is not fixed but will change depending on the price paid by users throughout the game. Those players who reach high amounts of sale will increase their market value. In this way we will reflect the reality of the market at all times. This change may seem important, but in reality it is not so, since in the current Striker already exists a market price set, that is, the team of @s regularize the prices if the price paid is higher or lower than the market price. Even if we have a certain freedom when purchasing or selling players, this freedom is not really such, because we should respect the market price. From now on the market value will be 100% sure, and know by all. There will not be any possibility to do a off-market transfer. This is a change we would have liked to implement on the current Striker, but we could not because the progression was not public. - The players' salaries will be more important now, as they will be higher than they are now, that means, it will be more difficult to maintain a really good team. - We remove the "R" of Re-signed from juniors' contracts.Now juniors will earn according to quality. I hate it when someone buys cookies for you, hands it over to you, and orders you to eat it the next day, or else he'll take it back from you. When you set a price on auction it doesn't let you set it lower or higher than 20% of that players value. And the R was removed because players can no longer be hostiled, so it is a redundant feature. Edited by LeNick 21-03-2014 10:59 |

I predicted this in a post somewhere....(cant remember which thread) when it was announced there would no longer be @'s. It is also going to alter the ability to buy a good team and will force players to focus more on training a whole team. |

Herein lies the problem: "Now juniors will earn according to quality" Yes that does sound right except for us 4th to 6th div. teams will not be able to afford high-quality juniors,therefore making it harder to get to the higher divs. once the server is established but as we will be all starting in 6th div. again it won't be a problem for those that sign up right away but for future users this would pose a problem. My opinion. |
