I can't understand why all the GKs in auction have often a higher price than other more valuable positions... (CDF or CF for example). Why???? |

Because they are difficult to train. When you train keepers, the other positions do not improve their core skillsets, so if you are going to train gk, that is the only position you can train. Many managers do not train their junior or senior gk at all - they just purchase what they need on the auction. So gk command a higher price, unless the market is flooded by too many managers training gk. I hope that happens soon | 15/11/2013 22:26 |

It doesn't seem to matter too much what your GK average is - he will still dive out of the way of some shots and dive 12 yards across the area for other ones. Of all the positions in this game they are the one that needs most help in the simulator. |

They're just trying to raise the value of the positions they've trained, best of luck to them | 15/11/2013 23:56 |

I think I'll continue playing with my bad GK but I need a substitute and I don't want to pay 3 M for a 44/31.... Edited by SuTaGar 16-11-2013 00:15 |

So, every other trainer/farmer can charge an exorbitant amount of money for, say, a CF or DFM, but not a GK? I sell players that are in line for what others charge me. Only fair. If you don't like the price, negotiate! |

I've got a 47/19...so guess I am in good shape then That said, yes gk seem very stupid in this game but I have watched games with much higher level gk and they seem to be much faster than my keeper. It may that gk are stupid and worthless but they are relatively equally stupid and worthless when compared to similar average other players. |

The reason managers are selling Gks at a higher price is because there are only a handful of managers who train that position now. So the supply of really high average Gks is less than what it used to be, so it is natural for managers who have high average or those who are training them to demand a higher price than similar transfers. If you look at the market only a handful of high average Gks have been sold in recent times, managers are holding on to their players. |
