This has probably been brought up before, but I can't find it recently. When there's a free kick on one's side of the field and the defenders don't have a clear teammate to pass it to, they pretty much give to an opponent. It happens way too often and with different degrees of dumbness... even if defendants aren't very good avg, they should clear the ball far away forward like they do in normal play, or even kick it sideways out of the field -- any of those options are better than simply giving it to an opponent. While we're on the subject of dumb: 1. CDF/GK will block a shot and then run right past it, allowing rebounds 2. GK's come too far out of the net, try to run backwards, and can't save goals when they do so. 3. GK's are too stupid in general. Need to be smarter. |

Defenders may be a little dim, but goalies are amazingly dense. |

very true also, what's with the RBs/LBs executing offsides and free kicks directly off the field? it happens very often and no actual football is played in several minutes |
