sometimes i don't really understand why people like to compare this game with "actual real life example"...looking at the market that available throughout the season and any team wouldn't have to wait until specific transfer window to acquire players, will actually tells you how much this game is different from reality....

but that's what makes this game interesting in my opinion...we just have to accept this game as it is and set our strategy accordingly...since the OP is still in lower division as i am, i think there are so many other things that we can explore first before to worry about market price for 70+ av players...seriously, looking at your stadium, i don't know how you gonna pay for high player salaries....

I wasnt talking for myself i was just addressing a matter thats all, and im not saying i hate this game, i do love this game but im saying its making it hard for some people thats all, some people accept the challenge like myself, but i just wanted to know the reason of those high prices

I once thought that the devs were mistreating the lower division lads. But no... I was wrong.

-Get a good coach, both junior and senior, at least 88% for a start.
-Develop your stadium to 36-42-42-36 if you like; that way, the cash will pour in like water
-Buy 80+ progression juniors. Forget about seniors? Well, you can abandon them for now.
-Develop good advanced tactics to promote your team to the next division; there, you'll make more cash.
-Buy GBs if you're not in "non-GB countries" like Nigeria. They'll save you lots of stress. Ask BoneCrushers for clarification. He's the GB maestro.

In two to three seasons, you'll be controlling hundreds of millions.

Oh... and lastly, the idea that this should be a real-life game, get it out of your head. It's a fantasy game where players are bought for $4bn.

it's fun anyway. When you start handling your billions, you'll know it is really fun... especially during bidding wars. 14/10/2013 20:56

fantastic thread. love reading these when they come up. should be required reading for new managers.

breaking into the top divisions is hard, but anyone can do it just by following the advice in the faq. there are some current managers on the verge of div 2 promotion within a year of starting.

Mainly down to relationship between wage and buyout clause. As teams were able to genarate more income through 156000 capacity stadia, youth farms and stores, it became easier to pay clauses. Managers then ensure they set wages at ever increasing levels to combat loosing best players
