i think this should be in general forum to get idea of other manager.is it good to start a match with high effort and change it toward the end of the match to low effort or start with low effort and finish with high effort? 19/07/2013 10:10

I always end on 100% not that it matters if your opponent has an 89avg CF on loan

i usually start at 60% then on 15mins 100% then on 30mins back to 70% then on 60mins back to 100%



it usually wastes about 20 stamina which means my A team always have 99 stamina on mon wed and fri

When I had a good team, I always started on about 90 percent effort and lowered it if I got ahead. If I didnt get ahead I would tend to play the whole game at 100 percent effort. But it generally worked for me. The key is the use of subs towards the 60th min. I used to save my best two forwards til then. 19/07/2013 19:39

It depends on your opponent and your squad. If you have a Team A and a Team B then you can go a high effort the whole game and switch your team for the game tomorrow.

Personally, I have my tactics set to play at a standard effort, but every time I am up by a goal or two, then I will lower effort.

i use to start and stay on 100%, my theory was i would get the most out of my subs on 60mins - it got me to div2

now super has persuided me to start with 75% then kick it upto 100% on 30 mins - i'm happy it will get me back into div2 1st time around

Hi @bowsey.Do u get any benefit if u do so?


the benefit for me is my players lose 20 stamina and get back to 99 for next league game, this only is of use if you have a B team to play on tuesday thursday and at the weekend
