I've wondered this for a long time. GKs often play every minute of the season and thus, accumulate much experience towards better captaincy. Furthermore, not being able to substitute them puts GK trainers at a temp. promotional disadvantage. Support. | 19/06/2013 20:21 |

Lets say you have tactics to sub GK off at 15mins. Then your opponent gets pen on 14:45, you cry because GK is standing on sideline as other team score. I agree to GK captain but not GK as sub. | 20/06/2013 12:03 |

To me, this is an issue with how substitutions are flawed in general and not to do with the actually substitutions of GKs. PKs are pretty rare and PK saves even rarer...this is like saying you can't sub CDFs off because it gives clear breakaways most of the time, which is more of a game influence then a scored PK in my eyes. | 20/06/2013 19:06 |

Hey these are series of codes. Its not as easily put as you are saying now, that it is a flaw. Since you suggest this, am sure GKs will also get injured during the game and need to be substituted off, or get red card, and so on. It is a lot of complication when it concern GKs. |

The suggestions board is not about "easy" fixes. It is about harvesting new ideas for the developers to consider implementing as a way to improve the game for everyone. Just because something is complicated doesn't mean it is not valuable or that it does not warrant attention. | 22/06/2013 07:00 |
