They all do...I just demolished the three excellent schools I had. They are totally worthless IMO. I had them for over a year and got exactly 2 players over 80 progression. 25/04/2013 01:46

That's the fact. I had researched the mathematical expectation of the progression (before the school was updated) (suppose it follows the normal distribution).

It shows that the possibility for a 100% excellent school to generate a 80+ progression junior is less than 12%.

80+: <12%
75+: <26%
70+: <47%

I heard that since the school was upgraded, the progression of all junior was increased by 3. So the new possibility for you to get a 80+ junior increase to 19% (supposing the standard deviation is not change).

I have had a Brazil excellent since over a yr now. The best player was a 93 prog RF. Even today I got a 67 prog crap. But as its said before its random. Deal with it. You cant expect to get a 90+ prog player everytime a player comes from schools. 25/04/2013 06:17

I like to think of it this way.

You buy an excellent Brazil school, the most expensive in the game. You pay ~$98M up front and ~$1.8M per week or ~$21.6M per annum.

You get a player every 5 days which amounts to 17-18 players in a season. If you get one 90%+ progression player, outside of LB/RB, LM/RM or GK in three or four seasons you will more then pay for all of your up front costs and yearly maintenance fees. In some cases, a 90%+ progression player can go for $400M+ pretty easily, earning you a pretty handsome bonus...most of us can't afford that buy buying in the open market. Every other 70%+ and 80%+ player can be sold or kept and trained for a PURE profit.

I don't know of a single person who has had schools for an extended period of time (~3 seasons or more) who can say they haven't gotten their value and more from them. Realistically, schools are an easy money guarantee...you just have to be prepared to play out the probability that you won't get these players every single week.

Did you get refund for the school that you've demolished?

Another thing. Just need seniors opinion on this matter. I already have 2 excellent schools at uruguay& austria. With the limited budget.. i keep thinking opening another one. Either in portugal or netherland. But if i choose excellent in netherland, i must take loan for 5m otherwise i'll just satisfy with the high standard. Excellent in portugal or High in netherland or.. excellent in netherland (take loan). FYI i've just around 15m+ rite now. 28/04/2013 12:42

Your 15 million would be better spent building two sections of pro seats. Those have a guaranteed return.
