There is much more space to play into and there isn't that much reliance on strong defensive crowding. In the higher divisions more managers tend to compress the play as far as I've seen. What I find really good about LW/RW are their versatility. They can dribble, pass, and even tackle which makes them pretty useful. If anything, their true worth is what you said, the ability to convert defense to attack especially against high OT. LF/RF on the other hand, when on shooting from the sides, I've seen them score more often. Probably their sweet spot? I am very entertained by the LIM/RIM as strikers idea. Does anyone employ such a position that I can learn from?  I use LIM/RM as wingers and the score a lot too. |

In the past i have used LF-CF-RF which worked pretty good actually but because LF/RF were underrated back then so i shifted to Dual CF and Dual CF + OM attack, which dint work well enough for me to keep using them... so now i moved to LW-CF-RW and single CF attack. So basically i have used quite a few formations but i'm still looking for the right one |

All these ideas r very interesting.... particularly the ones about using the Xims as strikers... their balanced stats always intrigued me whether they would be any good as strikers... but it seems others r already using them... All this is very helpful.. |
