The onus is on me and all of us,to see who continues with RFM next season post here and tell me your intentions. Funny, but when you figure out some of the game that eluded you, sometimes you have to take a step back. I had a good team, young and already at their max. I had to dump and reload. In doing so, I am stuck in a rut, great help on the way, but not there yet! On a good note, Youth Coach is now 99%, the Coach is at 95%, loads of good players in the football factory and the stadium is developing. But man, this has been a bad year... can I just fast forward the season! |

After leaving Division 5 and moving up, I did not expect to be in the top 4 this season with my regular league, however I am delighted to be vying for a promotion spot twice in a row, with an almost guaranteed promotion next season if I don't get it next month. As for RFM, Pgelin and I continue to battle for 1st place in the 2nd division, with a trade in places after almost every round. It's exciting and I can't wait for our rematch in a few weeks. Team wise, I have given my stadium some much-needed TLC and we're back to profitable. I'm starting to promote juniors to make room for better new ones and F.C. Atalanta will be looking to make a major purchase for its starting line-up in the next two weeks. By the middle of next season we hope to promote our future starting goalie and sell the current one for $100m plus, which will give my squad some cash to make quite a few major moves in preparation for Division 3. Oyewale, if you want folks to participate here more regularly, you should follow Sender's lead, and post links to notable threads in the Super, Power, and Horizon leagues forums. Otherwise, it's tedious to navigate your way to Champions League forum and impossible to stay abreast of posts here if you don't. Sorry for hijacking your thread, Sender. |

I'm doing quite fine in my opinion. Coming into the season I was thinking that I would be battling to get out of relegation in Division 5 due to the crazy averages in my group. Half the season already passed and I am vying for 2nd place this season. I would be in 1st by a clear margin if I had not been penalized 10 points. Anyways, I would like promotion, but it's something that I'm not really focusing on. I need to establish a good stadium income and also a self sufficient team before I even try to promote since Division 4 is littered with top notch teams that would sink me easily. xD |
