@practicesquad said: I can't wait to see how Pep uses them I particularly agree with this sentence-how he "uses" them. He seems to be just afraid to accept a challenge. He seems to be contempt in leagues which seem to have few other real contenders and there push on for domestic glory and CL with domestic glory being much easier. |

Arsenal <3 said: What's interesting was how Bayern always advocated to having a German coach to remain traditional and stability yet signed a foreigner. It must be very fickle of their board to just hire Pep, a Spaniard, out of nowhere. Louis van Gaal ![]() But Guardiola surprised me as well, i expected Heynckes to stay for 1-2 more seasons at least and possibly Scholl taking over as assistan and later as 1st team coach when heynckes would retire. I hope bayern wont be changing the roster heavily, they have great synergy right now, maybe 1 CB and possibly a technical striker (Suarez/Neymar or someone) and they're fit. And for the love of god, NO TIKI TAKA! |

And for the love of god, NO TIKI TAKA! Mhm. They definitely have a good balance of a team. Great GK, decent defense, a budding midfield, and a classy forward line. As for transfers, definitely try for Agger and for forwards: Guidetti or maybe Suarez. They can try poaching some of the young German or Dutch starlets. I believe Neymar is Barcelona bound unfortunately as it would be shocking to see him head to the German league. If there's anything about German teams, it is their leaning towards a German backbone. Very few Spanish players would choose to ply their trade instead of doing in La Liga. It's harder for foreigners to integrate themselves into Bundesliga. ---- Haha, Bayern are already a well-drilled team, and Pep is a great tactician. They should be looking to ship off Robben in place for a younger winger (Eriksen maybe). I don't believe their style of play will change too much, maybe they'll lean towards a more pressing side if anything. Edited by Arsenal <3 21-01-2013 19:04 |
