The kitchen is officially a joke. I bought the "coming right up" production option with golden balls and diligently made as much food as I could throughout the break, yet I still sold out with $94k in sales for my 1st home game. The concept of handling the food at our matches is not without precedent. However, i get the distinct impression that whoever designed this system has never had any sort of administrative experience, or does not play any sort of business simulation type games. Furthermore, it seems to me that whoever designed the "Catering" system was not talking to the person that designed the Factory/Store system, who was also not the same person who designed the Stadium management system. Now, why would i bring up the Stadium management system in this context? Because I believe this new food system is far too micro management intensive and could greatly benefit from having something more akin to the stadium seat/price management system implemented. Why can we not just pick a value for how many of each item we'd like produced, and leave it to our invisible minions to make sure those items make it into the appropriate invisible vendor stalls? It's bad enough that we have to set up the factory to run every day. The last time i went to one of my local stadiums, they did not have one huge kitchen where they processed everything in series, rather they have individual kitchens behind each vendor that prepares the specific types of items for each vendor in parallel, and with as much as a few hours lead time to get the initial batches ready. Everything else is produced at game time. While i'm on the topic of parallel vs serial production: Do you guys even have a concept of how much time and cost is involved in retooling a factory to produce completely separate items? This idea of queuing up totally disparate items into one series channel every single day makes absolutely no sense. My main issue with this new system is the incredible amount of micro management required, relative to all of the other systems, in order to make it effective. This is not some lame Facebook/Zynga game. I would implore the dev team to NOT EVER try to move in that direction. Zynga is a fat bloated cow that is in the process of going down like the Hindenburg. There is no need to follow in their footsteps. |

I am also against these "Store" and "Kitchen" Update, but let us understand why they have implemented this.. According to me, there are 2 basic reason for these kind of updations: 1. Due to this, you (Manager) is forced to check and re login in every 3-4 hours. I think "No of hits" in a day is the reason behind this and they are generating real Monetary profits from here. 2. Most of these updates have Locked things. Means one have to buy Golden Balls to unlock this. This also helps in generating revenue for the developers. Although, even i dont really check these 2 items regularly, but clicking on one item to prepare is the first thing i still do when i login first time in the morning. If u dont want these updates, just ignore them. There is no harm in ignoring it unless u also want 100K profit every day!!! |

Loving Store & Catering Updates - It's very much helpful to DIV5, DIV6 etc mgrs.. I have just upgraded my store to level 4 and unlocked Boots with 100GB... There's no harm getting $500k money from store each day...  +1 to SM DEVs |
