I don't want another forum. It's jumbled and impossible to quickly find what you need.

i agree. that's why i think we need six forums instead of one.

either way, i'm in favour of _anything_ that helps sort out the current mess

aah..so u are suggesting to make a plr negotiable but not on auction if i understood right.so u nean make a plr negotiable but he is not on auction then other managers can have a button to search negotiable plrs.then they negotiate via pm and u remove R button and he buys him right?
if it is so then i like the idea.+1

Substitute
so they need a new field on JR players called "I'd sell this 'R' player for this much" ... and include that field in the search criteria screen? 02/12/2012 14:59

No, the idea I have is simpler. It would be a menu item called "for sale" which would add any player (junior or senior, regardless of re-sign status) to a searchable index. Other managers would then contact the manager and negotiate directly. The "for sale" status would be removed in 3 cases

1) player is sold
2) owner manager removes "for sale" perhaps with a menu item named "not for sale
3) manager auctions the player

Other ways to describe this would be "mark for transfer" "transfer available" "list as for sale" "add to transfer market" "for transfer" "sell (not auction)" "add to transfer list"

Or perhaps best:

"negotiable (for sale)"

I know exactly what you mean, a system that works just like how the loans work, just to select negotiable and he can be for sale but the manager has to speak to you first.

It's a perfect idea, I always end up listing players on the market that I don't need to sell super bad, but for the right price I'd sell them and I've got to list them 4-5 times before they sell. On the other side if you're looking for a specific type of player (65+ forward with 80 shot attribute or something) you've got to either hope someone has a guy on the market, manually search through a ton of teams (and hope that someone would want to sell), or hope someone reading the market forum/chat actually has what you want.

I also agree with whoever mentioned the market forum being broken down into even more forums, I know the @'s have worked to make them less crowded, but there is still a lot of clutter in there that makes it hard to find players.

+1 from my side, super idea, it would save us a lot of trouble, repeated posting on market chat, and would to some extent, curb spamming on the market chat(s) 02/12/2012 18:31
