Allow auction of players without removing R or create a no hostile timer after an auction ends with no buyer

This has cost me a few headaches in the past. If I go to auction a junior, I have to remove r then auction. Here's the problem. Unless I jack up my players realese clause to a ridiculous amount, his realese will be low. If I auction the player and his auction ends before I resign, somebody can hostile.

My suggestion is about securing our future investments. I shouldn't have to pay a junior player a 30mil salary to protect myself from a possible hostile if my auction falls threw the floor.

Can we have an option to auction players with an R or more simply, a protection window from hostile for 12 hours or even 6 hours?

Sorry buddy but if you auction a player the max you can put him on for is the hostile price so whether he sells on auction with 1 bid or gets hostile it is all the same,

I wouldn't think the devs will update this as every time you remove R it is money in the bank for them.

Yeah, i know your point is clear with reason eam. I thought that too and figured this was a shot in the dark. Just seems like a problem that should've been fixed way back when. Reason being is that hostiling a junior player from sellers team is allowed if the auction ends with no buyer but, -

Hostiling a player when he just arrives to his new team is not allowed?

Just seems asinine to me.

i don't often agree with you cmc. but you are spot on with this

it's fine for u-play to make money. this is a great game & worth every penny imo.

it was necessary to introduce the update which meant juniors had to go to auction rather than sold between friends on the quiet. it balances things out.

but here's the thing, there was no need to remove the option to auction & resign your own juniors in order to increase clause. i know i'm not the only person to have lost players to hostile because of this.

it's not enough to have (r) or low clause. there must be a third option for juniors you want to sell.

@s please pass this on to the devs - we need the option to increase clause of juniors, even if it costs gb. to no longer have this option is short-sighted & makes it look like the devs don't understand one of the core mechanics of their own game.

tl:dr - bring back option to increase junior clause. ta.

You can higher clause by resigning and removing r, or have I misunderstood your post?

can you? i don't want to waste 10gb to check

even if that's true, it will cost 20gb. re-sign in the first place (player straight from school etc) then remove R & re-sign to new clause, then remove R again.

it needs to be simpler, and should be free. it's not a luxury feature like stadium speed-up or prog view.

When you remove r, the player starts his new contract an new clause, it is also free for pack manager users. 17/11/2012 19:09

Correct. My qualm is with this process as it forces a manager to increase a salary before an auction. Yes it can be lowered but you still have to wait 48 hours after doing this which means you have to pay that very high salary for one week until you lower it again.
