Through tactics and advanced formation, forwards' positions can be adjusted to avoid being caught offsides, but there should also be an option to have forwards always stay in line with the last man back in the defense, because in real life a central forward doesn't sit up top in an obviously offsides position when the defense pushes up, even if that's where he would be if the defense hung back. under tactics use the yellow, green and red bars to tweak your formation. depending how your formation is set up having the red one deep outside the penalty area should stop this happening. | 13/11/2012 16:34 |

Don't put the forward line into the 18 yard box. And if you want to make sure you aren't offside, make forward line as low as possible. | 13/11/2012 16:51 |
