1) Assume that I've an advanced tactic at half time to substitute 2 players at IM and DFM. If my IM player gets injured (or gets a red card) before half time, that tactic gets disabled. My suggestion is that if some player who is about to be substituted gets injured, he must be substituted by the specified player and the tactic should remain enabled for the other changes. 2) Now assume this situation where I've an advanced tactic with 2 substitutes at half time under "any" constraints. Also assume that I've another tactic at time="Any time", game situation="2 goals ahead", tactic change= "tactic2" Suppose if "tactic2" gets enabled before half time(opponent scores 2 goals), the 2 players are not getting substituted. My suggestion is that switching tactics should check for new matching constraint and should not consider the current tactic's constraint. I don't think this issue is going to get fixed any time soon. but here are some work around to avoid tactic clashes 1) Attach a seperate advanced tactic to each substitution. That way if one player gets injured or sent off the other substitution still goes ahead. 2) If you must have subs under an 'any time' game situation, you need to compensate by attaching your '2 goals ahead' tactic to times. put one at 15 mins, one at 30, one at half time etc. (to be honest I would do this the other way round, subs set to specific times & '2 goals ahead' set to any time) hope that helps |

Aleph gave you a pretty decent answer. Why don't you try his advice first? Also, you're looking specifically for the devs, not the admins in general, most of whom are either mods or fiscals. | 01/11/2012 03:56 |

That is not sufficient enough for a feature to be named as "Advanced" tactics | 06/11/2012 04:48 |

Yours is not at all a solution to the problem that I specified. | 06/11/2012 11:06 |

Read my posts. http://en3.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=310046 http://en3.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=307446 Use those to make subs so your tactics don't get into conflict with each other, avoid the use of "any" for the tactics using subs. You will have to create multiple tactics (e.g: one for if there was a draw, one for if you were more than one goal down etc.). Once I had a player meant to be subbed off injured, but using my tactic, the other 2 subs worked. |

patient: that needs luck. Assume this case. Instead of the injured player some other player gets automatically substituted who is a part of some other tactic which disables that tactic too. I gave a solution to avoid this problem which is easy to implement. Why don't you people consider that and only give me some alternate ways. |
