Reimbursed? kindly saying... it will be fine as long as the managers greatly affected by this (fighting for relegation or for 1 rst place {me}) should get 1-3 points back depending on team they versed and chances or 3 points to save time for the devs. SOMETHING should be done [ill try not to use bad language or say what i mean] as the managers effected should get free GB's with the points or atleast the points and a sorry message mentioning the mistake and bug [hasn't been released yet if ever]. WE CAN'T JUST MOVE ON like the devs want it and to just sit back and watch the Sunday Night game or Saturday Night live but actually hellp the managers that they harmed by not moving back league game a few hours back to allow managers to fix squads. Ideas? Please don' answer if your not affected by this and don't care...... AND @'s this is a very important issue that shouldn't be hidden from the public by hostiling the forum! Let this forum hang so everyone who want to can write in it. The idea I put forward on chat was that the teams affected by this should have their and their opponents on that's days points taken away, then when you play that same team again in game week 29 the winner should get 6 points or if it's a draw both teams get 2 points, fiscals could do this but it would be a bit of a headache. Any fiscals have any input on this suggestion? I personally wasn't hindered by this bug but I would be fairly annoyed if I was  |

I know i am not in cup, but my friendly match was affected by this bug, though eventually played, but i couldnt do my line-up for my game but luckily i am in div 5 and didnt come up against a special opponent and i won so i dont mind. The game was delayed by over 8hrs. |

Thanks and thank you to all @'s and other managers that are persuadingthe devs to help the managers harmed if there are any Cheers, Legiapolska and all other managers affected First of all Legiapolska, we @ already suggested the developers to give 1-2 points to all the teams that were affected by the bug, but it seems its just not possible to do so. If the developers were to give the points away, it becomes next to impossible to know which managers lose their league games due to the bug and which did not. Everyone who lost will come forward asking for points. So that idea was completely dropped. Second giving free Gbs is not a solution to the bug. Its like asking the developers to bribe all manager to keep quite and move on. The bug happened quite early in the season, so I really think managers can gain those points in the coming week. Third point is none of @s tried to hide the bug from the managers. We infact were in contact with the developers for over 15 hrs (till the first league game was played on friday). But unfortunately when the bug appeared the developers had already left the office and nothing could have been done back then. They did solve the issue first thing on Friday though. We have suggested a few solutions to the developers, lets hope they implement it. Btw I was not affected by the bug (atleast this season, 2 seasons back this had happened to me as well and I know how it feels). If anyone can give a logical solution to the problem, we will pass it on the developers. And please understand this, these things do happen, even with the most tested and developed sites. The developers are trying really hard to improve the game and bring new features as well, but as we have seen sometimes (almost everytime in my opinion) when they introduce something new some part of the games gets messed up. |

Look. it's simple. Nothing will be done now. If you are certain you suffered a loss because of this bug, and fear that you will be relegated or miss promotion because of it, note it here. At the end of the season, we'll see if you are really within 3 points of one of those items, and we can maybe work to adjusting some things to send vacant teams down or up to right anything that occurred. The devs are going to do nothing, because there's nothing they can do at this point that would be equitable. Period. Ranting and raging in the forums will only piss people off to where no one wants to or cares to help. Even more, they aren't reading this. When the ES Server goes down, strange things happen here. It's happened EVERY SEASON. EVERY SEASON someone loses their mind over it. I was blown out of cup in feb because of an update and screwy scoreline. Last season I was fighting at top and went through 7 game losing streak. I don't know where you were last season after the update with all this rage. I guess it wasn't in your back yard. But the fact that something went screwy is not a surprise. In fact, if nothing would have happened, it would have been a surprise. What should be a surprise is we are reacting to it and actually willing to explore solutions we can implement independent of that. But I'm sure that thanking us, or even recognizing it, may be too much. Teams were impacted by a bug 2 seasons ago (I think), and were involved in a relegation mess. We managed to fix that quietly, and without all the outrage, thank you very much. I can't promise anything, but we can try to do something right when the time is right. Acting now might actually hurt teams that have done nothing wrong. If you feel that you have lost because of this bug, and it could become an issue late in the season, then send one of us a note. we'll mark your name in mod forum and see where things end up, and work with it the last week of the season if it's close. |
