I used to login multiple times a day, look for new players, learn tactics etc. Now I'm in once a week. I'm about to stop spending time here as I feel like it is becoming a ghost town. I was enjoying the game but since last season, the game is getting extremely boring. May be not many active managers left? Transfer market is completely dead. I used to sell avg 38 players for over 3m. 3 seasons ago I made 300m profit just by buying selling avg 35-39 players. Now they barely sell for 1m. And when I look for high avg players, prices are ridiculously high. I don't see demand on youths either, I couldn't sell pr80 youth even for $0 I have decent players, a good stadium, 300m in the bank but not enjoying the game any longer. With time you need to upgrade uyourplayers. No one buys 35-40 average players anymore. Even a Div 5 team would try its best to buy or train players to 50-55 and sell them to make a profit. The reason you feel its a ghost town is coz you have limited yourself to just forums and a couple of friends. Agreed, There are a lot of people using the 'chat' function in this game. To be completely honest, looking back at how I played this game without using chat... I have no idea :S |

I agree with O.P. at the same time, you are in a much better position then someone starting now. Heres why market is down in the 35-40 area. Div 6 and 5 teams dont have the high 40 and 50 players like 7 seasons ago so the demand to play and train 40 avg players is gone. Certain positions are worth more. I bought a 93fc gk two seasons on auction in a war for 11mil. He was 20 something avg. Got crappy trainers and still he had a 93fc at only 38 avg 15 yrs old. I sold him on auction for 3 mil. That was the market price this season. Alot of managers are stacked with juniors and in light of some new procedures, many managers will be forced to train juniors near 80% fc before selling. Not too mention once youve spent all that time training, you might as well promote, therefore marketplace becomes more scarce. Schools are a big factor since many have them now. Your best option is to hustle for the next three seasons. Use chat and market forum before going auction road and most importantky, if you plan on competing and going to div 2 or 1, buy gbs. |
