So I am trying to bring back the world cup we tried to have a few months ago but failed to organise. This one will be different , every country will have 2 teams (as some countries won't be able to get 3 teams). You are allowed to combine 2 different countries. For countries like USA, India or spain who have way more than 2 teams, they will be able to create more than one team (e.g: USA 1, USA 2 etc.). To enter you need to have 65+ average. You might not be 65 average now but if you think you can reach that by the 2nd half of the season, I might let you in... Every round will be scheduled with "cup fixture generator" http://www.daftlogic.com/projects-cup-fixture-generator.htm The cup will happen during the month of November with scheduling starting around the last week of November (unless we get 32 countries before, then we will just finalize things). You can play friendlies anytime but DO NOT schedule anything for the month of December. The cup will start at around round 3 of striker cup so there won't be many of you in striker cup which is perfect. But how will the world cup work? The teams representing your country play the two teams from the other country on the decided day. One country will get the advantage of choosing which member plays who. The country will be decided randomly by "cup fixture generator" and it will be the team playing "at home" . To win a round, one of the following things must happen: 1.)If your country wins both games you are through. 2.)If your country only wins one and draws the other one you are also through. 3.) If your country wins one and lose one, the country who scores most goals goes through. If the same number of goals are scored from both countries then the team who scores the fastest goal gets his country through. 4.)If both games turn out to be draws the country with the fastest goal is through 5.) If no goal is scored in any games then penalties are counted. P.S: DON'T count penalties except for point 5 If you are still in the Striker cup while your country is meant to play you can either find a replacement or have your partner play 1 on 1 with your opponent if they agree. If you see a username instead of a country as opponent then you will be playing that guy who might be as a disadvantage if he doesn't find a partner as you will have 3 easy points. The team on the Left (meaning the "home team") gets to decide who plays who. You will also see that there will be a best loser from each round taken to the next one, this is so that teams don't get a bye. The teams that are set, you will keep your schedule...that's it....If single managers on the list team up with each other managers on the list then that will change their schedule. If knew people enter then schedule might also slightly be changed, same for if one of you guys is still in the world cup, Remember, you are still free to enter the competition. Obviously you can't send requests yet as there is no date given, just keep December free... If you are not free either on the 4th or the 6th of December then you might not get a game (but you not getting to play has a very small chance to happen). If you have a game on both days then you will have even lower chances of playing(very high chances of happening). I will make sure to tell you if you are out before the cup starts.
