This might be taken as a complaint, but it isn't one.
The issue is that in the first 4 rounds(3 played and 1 upcoming) of the Cup, I've had only one home game and a chat with fellow players showed an imbalance in the home and away games that everybody is getting. So some end up raking a lot of revenue while others end up with bits and pieces.
Ultimately, we came up with two options that seem fair in terms of the revenue that is earned.

Option 1. Bigger Stadium gets the game
As the name says it, the team with the bigger stadium will get the game. This way, even the smaller teams can earn good revenue at least if they are drawn against stronger opponents. The bigger teams also get value for fielding their best sides.

Option 2. A Fixed Income per Round
Here, the income is fixed every round which increases as you keep knocking out other opponents. An absolutely fair method where every team earns money to its potential.

Option 3. Random Draws
Have random draws every round(FA Cup Inspired) unlike the current Grand Slam style knockout pattern, where the system generates your opponent every round so again the probability of getting a home game is the same for everybody.

Disclaimer - This is not my idea completely. It includes inputs from several other managers.
Better ideas are welcome.

part of the fun of the cup is the randomness of the draw, also if you get far enough you will make big bucks,

as for the suggestion of having a set amount to win per round this is unfair. there is a big difference between playing a bot and playing someone from div 1-2-3.

It's obvious number 1 brings the most cash in so yes to number 1.

However as the format is now, I don't mind too much. Plus is the draw the same thing as the system generating the fixtures?

Number 1 or leave it alone for me.

The issue currently is that as per the draw, the team on the left side of the draw fields the home game. So half of the people will get lots of home games, say 3/4th and the other half gets 1/4th.

your math is horrible

every round 50% of users get a home game, fact, how can you get fairer

I wouldn't say the people on the far left get lots of home games, because the people on the left have to play a team, right? Therefore someone has to play an away game. Yes some teams can get lucky and get streaks of home games, but for the most part it seems the cup tends to be roughly even in terms of home and away games for a lot of people.

I do however like the idea of the best stadium getting the home game. If you're in 5th division, you might as well get paid a few million for getting whooped 10-0 by a division 1 team.

you don't get it bowsey..
half of the people get the home game but it's the same half of the people that get it.
3 out of 4 games, they will get the home game, like you do
and 1 out of 4 games is what others get, like I do
The probability factor comes when the draw is random every round.

I know I sorted it out on the chat, but it is matter of pride . Just for the knowledge of others and clearing all misconceptions

Illex, if you are on the extreme left of the draw, you will be playing home games throughout the Cup and on the extreme right, it's all away.

dude the people who had 1 home game in 4 could quite easily move to the left side of the bracket after their 4 games, it all tends to even itself out. so dont talk to me like im a moron,
