After a sliding tackle, the tackling player should stop, in order to get up, and then accelerate back to speed. Now we have it that some players just slide slide slide, but the attacker cannot outrun them. If a player slides, he should become slower for a second. You cannot just continue sliding or running as if you didn't slide at all. For some players their tackling speed is even faster than their running now. |

Hehe, I'm working on that, but the defender cannot just continually slide and slide without the sliding slowing him down. He ain't got rollerblades, nor we're playing on ice. Edited by temenem 08-10-2012 15:31 |

Also defenders can't get away with bringing a player down when clean through and just about to shoot. Too many teams playing high OT and getting away with it. | 09/10/2012 16:15 |

Most of the times I just pray my strikers just reach the box before they tackle me so I get at least a penalty... |

+1 It's obvious that the slow defenders and stupid strikers update is useless. The effect the sliding tackle has mitigates this effect. They just seem to speed up after a sliding tackle. It's silly. Revert eh update already, it's useless, people still play the high Offside line and it's effective. I'm so tired of ranting about this. |
