Just joined division for from division 5. I'm getting absolutely smashed in every game so far. Watching the games I seem to be playing well but somehow I seem to get goal after goal going against me. I've tried being more defensive but not much is changing. Is it normal for the difficulty jump from division 5 to division 4 to be this much?

I got 100+ points last season with the most goals and least conceded. This season I've scored a few but taken a bombardment against me. It's difficult getting the cash to buy the players required. I'm trying to focus on getting my stadium up to scratch so my revenue is improved. I think I should have focussed on this more last season.

I started in division 7 and have gained promotion each season. Somehow I don't see myself getting one this season and from where I stand it looks likely I'm going back down (although this might be a blessing in disguise)

Sorry, this is more of a frustrated vent than anything else.

to solve your cash flow problem, build some pro seats ASAP. they will make a big difference to your match day income. build one set at a time so you only have to wait a week before they start making you money.

if you are using one of the default formations. there are some better default formations here: http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=277588

but if you haven't already, what you really want to do is build your own advanced formation http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=265474
scroll down to Step 5.

Don't worry if you won't get promoted this season. Its a marathon not a sprint. Take this season to develop your team and refine your tactics.

I was in division four for one season and got promoted to division three. That was a much bigger jump than to division four.

I've done the advanced tactics, been using those for a while.

As for doing the stadium builds one at a time. I did not think of that, I just wanted to get them going before I spent the money elsewhere. Good tip though, I'll try and sort that one out.

Hopefully I can keep it together for this season to stay in this division. I'd rather not have to go back down to go back up but it wouldn't be the end of the world

Dont forget that if you do go down, you amy get an offer to promote next season anyway. Build stadium and youth squad. Thats your backbone of the club.
