Hi all,

I'm posting this out of frustration for teams that play a anti-soccer offside trap. I feel that harsher steps need to be taken for teams that choose to play this type of formation, its really frustrating to watch and is I think it goes the against the nature of the game because players aren't allowed to play to their full potential.

does anyone else feel the same way? what changes can be made to the Sim that will curb the use of the hectic off side trap? maybe read cards could be dealt to defenders that tackle from behind being the last man back?

something needs to change!

Use advance formation and invest in one fast attacker. You'll start ing 03/09/2012 10:39

Devs changed the behaviour of defenders to avoid this offsides trap. But for any reason they changed it back.

I use my advanced formations as best i can against this but this guy is parked on the half way line and my striker ends up being fouled. and have you seen what "fast strikers" cost around here, still just trying to train mine. i just think red cards should be dealt to those last man back defenders that foul from behind. 03/09/2012 15:39

I did advanced formations too. I also don't like the idea if everyone uses high offside traps.

if u using x1 striker have him supported by a mid either side of him (but never ahead or u will get offsides)

and useful to have a dfm right up his arse to regain ball if your striker tackled and there is no foul

Buy A good RM or LM , more short pass, attack on the wings. When your RM is attacking, his LB or LDF will run back for defending your RM. LB and LDF usually run faster than CF, so put your CF behind your RM can avoid offside 27/09/2012 22:47
