Good idea. They will be around 90 prog and cost 25 GB. but div 1 and 2 players should be restricted to enter into the auction for them. similarly there would be bronze stars. prog 80. 10 GB to auction and div 1-4 can not participate in auction. |

Yea this is the idea I was thinking.. like similary to real life star players in D-leagues that not good in better leagues but within there own league there are stars and can sell out tickets or help win games.. there are teams that have silver star players I seen one. there are 5-10 VERY rich players in divs lower than 1 and 2, so don't think you'll stand a chance for them if div. 1 and 2 can't bid. In fact, some low div. player offered 1bill+ for one of the gold star players. good luck. |

Wouldn't a silver star junior be just like a good school prospect? Except maybe they add 10% to revenue or something? I know everyone wants to get in on the fun of bidding for a star player but shouldn't stars be reserved for the star teams? If everyone had a star player, suddenly they're not such stars anymore. If you dilute the star player so that teams with $100 million in the bank can buy them, then they're sort of not that great. Plus it hurts the regular market. Wanna sell your 65 average CF? Too bad because there's a 65 CF star on the market right now. Stars seem fun, but really I wouldn't spend too much time wishing for a diluted star player. Edited by illex 27-08-2012 23:25 |

Edited by illex 27-08-2012 23:25 finally someone talking sense. Star players are supposed to play for top teams. I'm a div. 1 team and can't even dream about having a star junior (yes, i have a star senior, but he's no all that special in terms of avg/attributes). There are 90+ prog players out there who will eventually be just as good as those stars, minus the income bonus, but income per game is eventually capped anyway, so why does it matter? If you REALLY want a star player, buy one of those senior stars out there, you can get one for 200mill+ ish. and if you don't have that, you don't nearly have enough for star junior, there are teams with div. 3 and 4 who have far more than that. |

Silver star players huh..... Well on behalf of unfortunate mortals, who have to think twice before buying new shoes for our squad, I would like to petition for bronze, copper, steel and plastic ones too... that's the only way managers div 3 and below can eat a piece of this shiny auction pie the developers are serving.... add Wood players too... they can be the prog 30 and below. |
