I am sure most PL's have their secret offsite forums to discuess any private matters. What I am suggesting is that within each PL's forum in StrikerManager, we are given an option whether to make a specific thread, or even the whole forum, public or not eliminating the need to go to the offsite forum. It's much more efficient to just log into SM and take care of everything and being able to toggle the private/public option thatn to have to go to another website. | 26/08/2012 14:07 |

In that case you can just chat with or message the mangers whom you want to communicate or discuss something privately. lower div players get ideas from the forums of higher div league or top teams' pvt league. even i got some useful infos about offside tactics from one private league forum last season. |

well the truth is all 'higher level' and more active and organised PL's have offsite forums outside SM to share and discuss things which they can not do here, as my friend above said all can see our conversations on SM, so they or say we use offsite forum. Nevertheless, people do help a person who ask a question on forum even if they are not from their PL. Some information can actually be sensitive, like the players who can be a good hostile, our formations which we do not want to share with all. For this purpose we use offsite forums. This usage of offsite forums is a potential loss of income to the developers in my view. If we have an option to make a thread or two on a private league forum as 'private' and not visible to outsiders, we may actually want to spend money on it, as it's hectic to log on to some other website to talk to each other and discuss in a group, on sm we do not know when an user is hiding and listening our conversation on chat forums or who is visiting our forum, they are open to all. So I strongly support this suggestion. |

It's a really good idea. As vijji said it could be a moneymaker for the devs too. If you had to pay 10 GB to make a post on the PL forum only viewable by PL members, the devs could rack up a good bit of cash. This way too there would still be information out there for the general public to get info from if they wish to spend the time, but it wouldn't be all in private. The thing is for most there is a lot of info people are willing to put out in the open (and some people put info out there knowing it'll be seen), but there is a lot of info that they would never let go public regardless of anything. Nobody would be losing out on anything really. |

I bet the devs would still come out ahead with a 1 GB cost per post... | 27/08/2012 00:18 |

well it can be like a thread is made private with payment of 50gb per season or so and that thread remains private even after that season but we can not post anything on to it. | 27/08/2012 11:45 |
