well I personally take SM not only as a managerial game but as business game as well..
now what I am trying to say here might seem silly to some of you but am sure many of you will appreciate it too ...
we can have a probation to open franchises where we will be selling club t-shirts,caps, scarfs or other accessories to the supporters ...
it will involve a construction cost for the franchise shop and will have manufacture cost for the different accessories. the idea will be almost same as the stadium constriction. only difference will be for stadium you have to upgrade the seat and here you have to order the manufacturer for the accessories ..
you can buy accessories on weekly or monthly basis. if you order some accessory for a week you have to sell them within a week.
here is an example of what I am saying..
i order 30 caps and order in weekly scheme.
manufacturing cost is $5 per cap and selling cost is $6.
now will have to sell all my caps within a week. suppose i could sell all 30 and hence I have a profit of $30. it might be a case that i could sell only 10 of those 30.
same logic goes for the monthly scheme.
now the question comes how to sell the products.
i have an ans here.
there will be some credit for win ,draw or loss.
for a win you get 500 credit pt, for a draw 200 and for a loss 50.
now if you want to sell an accessory you will have to use that credit. different accessories will be having different credit proportionate to their price.

i know it seems to be a bit confusing . I hope i made it clear as far as i can in a single post.

making money is fun if it can be done strategically .

this feature (if implemented) can attract the managers a bit more and we might find more online managers.

It's a good idea, but not for Striker Manager. You are describing a completely different game that would take away from the main assests of Striker Manager. This is a manager simulator, there are many other games that fit your description. 17/08/2012 10:27

It won't take away the main focus of the game. right now we can only invest in bank in SM. it will provide a new option and that too strategically ... 17/08/2012 12:07

I would like to see an element of the game that there was actually some risk of losing money, but I don't think a pro shop would be the way to do it. It just seems too rollercoaster tycoon or sim city. 17/08/2012 15:21
