Thus making the offside trap even more difficult to beat. Great stuff... It's a really annoying tactic and so anti-football, it even makes watching the games in simulator boring. So 20+ offsides per game back again, lovely  |

i noticed Friday last week. called more accurately? pffft. i've had offside in my own half, offside called when there are 6 players between my attacker and the goal. it's back to the old sim as far as i'm concerned. |

This does means that offsides are called properly regarding the last man, but there are problems with being called offside in your own half - i suffered a draw the first game after they "updated" this, i had 28 offsides and a bad temper. | 26/07/2012 17:56 |

no, none are being called properly. i'm getting offside called even when there are 5 defenders deeper than my attacker. i'm really surprised that they've made any changes to this aspect of the game being as it caused such a shitstorm in the past. |

If you want to update, do it during the breaks. |

the sad thing is, this had been fixed. lately we've hardly had any posts complaining about the sim, where the boards used to be full of them. what you have now is a very strict offside rule. i've looked at a few games very closely. most of the offsides called are correct. the problem is, attackers are stupid and like to stray from their advance formation and hang around in offside positions. |

what is funny is that even the penalties are offsided now. now that's some accurate calling, i am thinking about going full man-marking and defenders in the box. there can not be a penalty taken in any case  |
