If you analyse carefully, if your player is mvp, then he gets a lil extra experience as compared to when he is not.
Secondly with the retiring thing in place, everytime a player gets mvp, he will give you benefit when u retire him..

I think extra experience should be for captain. MVP could be 1 or 2 extra motivation points

The data is so wildly erratic with experience that it's tough to say what really effects what. We are absolutely guessing at what effects experience. I believe that MVP may have a tiny bump, but it is abysmally small.
