Would it be possible to do champions league format in private leagues. 6 groups of 4 teams, top 2 teams from each group to knocout rounds with home and homes. This scenario would require 20 games to complete. Just something to think about | 04/07/2012 21:55 |

I don't know if I like the idea for private leagues, but I love the idea of being able to set up a "friendly tournament" with a World Cup/Champions League setup. Yeah people tried to set up the World Cup last season, but that clearly was like herding cats with people scheduling games when they weren't supposed to, so an automated system would help a lot. It'd give more interest to friendlies, because at the moment unless I'm trying out a new tactic, I don't care about my friendlies and they're just a way to pick up some extra cash. This way once you were out of the cup, you would still have something to look forward to on Tuesday and Thursday. |

Though i like the suggestion but not for private league.
