 i suggest that rules should be put beginning of the season and no new rule half or end of the season should be created to fine people

 What happens then when a player finds a loophole that allows them to gain an unfair advantage? We just have to wait an entire season while the player(s) exploit this? 25/06/2012 20:15

So we wait a whole season and let people continue to use a loophole to gain advantage and then stop the loophole?

So if I find some way to get free 90 average players, and tell a bunch of people about it before it's caught by the devs, meaning half the game is populated by teams with 90 average teams, and the other half of the teams quit because of these teams. I should get off completely free because I was able to exploit something?

I will admit I don't think someone should be punished to the full extent of the law with regards to a retroactive rule and should only have their team reset to the original state (like if I got a 90 average player for $0 and then a rule was instituted, I should have the option to forefit the player and forego a fine since there was no rule) but we can't just wait a whole season.

I partially agree that there are some things that should wait till the end of the season (like if sim gameplay is altered) so that people's game tactics don't have to be changed mid season. Rules shouldn't fall under this though, rules have to be fluid and constant to keep up with gameplay and problems that crop up.

 i somewhat agree with u , but finding 90 average players or any other loophole is like benefiting from a game bugs , which is already against the rule .


u should take the new case and give us ur verdict

this rule was put today
Note 2 : You can´t buy by transfer agreement/direct purchase from people who is quitting.

and people that bough a player a week ago for market price from some manager that quit , got sanctioned ..

PS: i am not here discussing the sanction , but about the idea of updating new rules

 8) Any action that deliberately weakens your team can be punished. This includes, but is not limited to: selling your team to fewer than 11 players, buying or selling outside of market value, playing a weakened lineup or formation to manipulate standings. If another team benefits from these types of actions, that team may also be fined or punished.

i only clarified this on that post, the rule wasnt new.

I dont understand what is benefit for buyer if he paid fair (market) price.It is not important who is seller(it can be even manager who want to quit) if price is fair 		26/06/2012 02:30

It's out of the norm. that is the problem.

We are here to preserve game balance, while trying to develop standard ways of doing things.

Nobody wants justice to be blind in reality, although we clamor for equal treatment like it's some entitlement.

Let this rest for a bit while we discuss what's going on please. You want information, but what you don't want is for all of us to have this discussion publicly answering everyone's questions independently.
