it's all rather confusing and arduous to me. I can hardly see what an average price is for certain players especially now that my purchases are of a higher order. I don't want to always ask a fiscal what is appropriate, I don't always have the time to do so. Can't we program something into the system like a 50 avg 19 yr old RDF with 80 prog sells for "x" amount range. I put the guy on auction and anyone can bid within that range, done. This game feels more like a game involving a lot more trading than actual football tactics/strategy lately. I know in the past it was very much that, but with prices and concerns of cheating it feels we do more trading than play football. Edited by Sir A. PlentyGoals 24-05-2012 13:24 |

PlentyGoals 24-05-2012 13:24 +1 Trading has become more risky and is taking the joy away from creating better strategies. Scenarios such as this will keep on cropping up if there is no benchmark for managers to compare their trades against. Similar trades is not really a benchmark as one sees variable prices there especially with Hostile clauses. Sooner or later, innocent or uninformed will be pulled up for cheating as well. Ignorance is not an excuse, but having a proper benchmark will eliminate the ignorance issue and give us good range to mark the players for buying and selling. |

This would prove to be impossible, as prices continually fluctuate. In terms of recent prices, there IS a benchmark, but you set prices in stone, is pretty much impossible. | 24/05/2012 14:09 |

then have a system to set variable range... as the prices for each player changes with respect to demand and supply the range also moves accordingly. The point is that.. it is too much too ask for a manger to do the research for each and every trade. If there is a good deal out there and if he waits for all the @'s to get back with fair price, someone else might take that deal. |

You don't have to do ask for every trade really. Go over similar trans and look for auction sales. If you find a bunch of them around the same price within a couple of weeks or so, that's pretty much market price. The problem occurs when there aren't any auctions for those kinds of players within that time. As a rule of thumb, if you have a doubt about a sale, ask a fiscal. Honestly, most of us won't bite |

Thanks @CelloG for your (long) answer I Think I understand things a little better now, and as I m a fair user, I shouldn't risk to be fined. Thank you for your time spend to explain how cases are threaten. illex said: http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=285282 I assume this is the one he was talking about, (this is the one I had also mentioned) but upon further inspection it does seem sketchy since the guy who sold him is now a system bot and paid 2x the money for the player. Yes, it was it, ty^^ |
