Something very odd is happening with the game simulator in my last 4-5 games. This is my 2nd season that I am using 352- C formation and I was very satisfied with it. But last 4-5 games something wierd is happening. I am losing games or playing draw against teams which avg is 10-15 less than avg of my team. Something was changed in simulator last week which caused me 3 major problems: Players speed- my 50+ Avg players are slower or equaly fast as opponents 38-39 avg players (!) Wierd defensive players behavior- CDF, RB & LB runs to corner/goal line when opponents player is in the middle of the field (I am using advanced tactics and formation - I placed defensive line at 30-40 m from the goal) Annoying offensive players behavior (especially OM's) - my OM scored 21 goals this season - in every game since last week he was the player with highest number of shots (10+ per game) at the goal but in last 4-5 games he hardly shoot 2-3 times per game. In every game last week that my team played the OM behaved very wierd and annoying: he cross his marker, runs to 14-15 m from goal and than he passes left or right to RF or LF who are in offside or marked, eventhough there is no defenders in front of him - just GK alone. My team was at the 1st place at the league board last week and than it started to play draw or lose games against teams that are in the middle of the board or 1 league down (in private league). WHAT THE HACK IS GOING ON??? |

Sounds like you are using a basic formation as in a 3-5-2 basic formation that's where the LB CDF and RB move to as the opposition move close to your goal. Players speed will reduce significantly when they have the ball compared to without it depending on how high technique is and what skills they have. Mids generally pass to forwards if they are in front of them, if the forwards are level or behind then the mids generally run with the ball and shoot. We haven't been told of any updates in the sim since the offside fix. |

I am not complaining that my 50+ avg player can't outrun 40 avg player having a ball in possesion, I mean that he is slower or equaly fast as him while they run without ball! I am using advanced tactic, check it yourself. I didn't change tactic since november 2011, but last week something was changed, I don't know what, but it is so anoying. |

You may be using Advanced Tactics, but you're not using Advanced Formation, you're using a basic formation. With an Advanced Formation you can put the players where you want them on the pitch, at the moment your team moves around with the same starting shape. And maybe the players you are playing against have more Speed, or are using more effort. |

Well the @ makes good sense but if you disagree then the only other option to believe is that you are not recovering you squad efficently and people are strategizing against you like for example, playing backs to block wingers or using dfm and cdf to block you cf or lf or rf. | 21/05/2012 00:05 |

I did check, the way your players move around the pitch looks like a basic formation, not an advanced one. Which is why your 3 defenders and pretty much on the goal line just after the ball crosses halfway. Rather than on the 18 yard line or higher which is where you would put them in an advanced formation. | 21/05/2012 00:05 |

Also, you have very little defense and most of the teams you have had draws and or lost was becuase they were playing right into the middle on you using a CF. You have very little middle defense. Sorry, invest in a dfm and a good ldf and rdf and then make sure to strategize. | 21/05/2012 00:09 |

OK, OK, I am doing something wrong, the simulator is perfect. You didn't explain why OM doesn't shoot when he is at 14-15 m far from the goal and there is nobody in front of him except goalie? And why in this situation OM passes to RF/LF who are often in offside? Am I doing something wrong here 2? |
