I mean this is just a game so if the funnest thing to you is to have an all irish team and see how far they can get, by all means have fun and do it. If your goal is to be the best at the game, then you're probably not going to get anywhere near your goal. It appears the formula for schools releasing quality players is based upon how good the nation traditionally is at football, and how large it is, so Spain, Brazil, Germany, etc are all places from where you could conceivably build a team of one nationality as there are large amounts of good prospects from those countries. Looking at about 10 1st and 2nd division teams I saw 1 Irish player. The problem you're going to run into is even if you find a bunch of good prospects, train them, and sell them off for profits, you're going to have a ton of money, but very limited resources to use all that money on. If you don't go with the traditional method of training up a bunch of the same position, and do balanced training, then it's going to take forever to get a competitive squad. You're also going to wind up generally paying a premium on the players, since your target market is so limited. If the average price of a player with an average of 60 and a forecast of 85 is 30 million, but someone has the only Irish guy with those attributes and he doesn't want to get rid of him, you're gonna pay a premium. But again, it's just a game, and if that's what seems fun to you, then by all means do it, but you're probably gonna have trouble getting beyond Division 3 |
