Hmm going open source is easy to say but difficult to implement with legal issues n copy rights involved. More over if they make any initiative to that it means they have to stop charging what ever little fee they are for premium stuff n depend on donations, I do not think that's a good thing to do when you have a little base of users who are passionate. Just give them some time or rajeev can give them a blank cheque which will help them hire some more people n expand their business ( I am not sure if that cheque will carry any kind of validity ) |

well they do earn money but i don't thnk they are loads of it . since if they had no money then the site would had closed a long time ago. you are right that in life we have to make compromises , moreover i am not critsizing the devs so that the players think adversely about them but so that they work more harder. ( if you don't like it then just p.m me i wont post on it ever again, note : if i had sacks of money lying arround me then i would have sent a million or 2 to the developers. i have a idea like inside of open source we can send improved version of what ever updates we want to the developers through the @s. They can check if it is okay and helps then if they like it they can implement it. This would help in keeping the copyright. If you don't get what i wannaa say , then i can try to explain better. |

Dont make statements without substantial proof and its time you grow up mentally. Reality of life is that you cant get everything the way you want, but will have to compromise in probably most aspects of life. This is not different. If you are really passionate about it and have a sacks of money lying around you, write them a check to employ full time developer. And truly if you despise the game, I would like to say 'good bye' in advance. Your comments are doing nothing more then inciting other people to think adverse about the developers. I like the open source idea as well (as a player), but then that would mean that the developers would essentially give up the copyrights of whatever they they worked on this far, which might not be a ideal solution for them. A lot depends on their own financial stability and willingness to let go of their own hardwork in opensource. If i were in their position, i would not let it go open source. @'s if you think i crossed the line, feel free to ban. +11111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111 |
