Are you for the idea of a transfer window?

Hey guys, I think that with the growing community and the high availability of cash across the board, it is bevoming very important to install transfer windows. When the season begins players should be safe in the knowledge that their best players will not be poached in critical situations. I know because I have been at the end of the deals on both sides. On the one hand it is great to be abl to augment your team during a season, but horrible that I loose my best CF two weeks before the end of a season at a critical juncture. It doesn't even have to be that you forbid hostile takeovers during the season, but that the transfer doesn't have to take place till the end of the season. Thereby I can always buy players on the market to augment the team, but I know that my players are safe. An alternative to this is that one has the chance to overbid the offer that will take the player away, by increasing salary and paying a fee up front to keep him. I am dissapointed that I am losing my best players continously, I want to build a team and not rebuy it constantly. This aspect will become more and more important in the future as more and more players join that will not leave after a season. Bargain buys are good, but when a player with 42 needs 6 mil contract min. to be kept it seems a bit ridiculous. sincerly, The Wilde Rovers |

I understand your point, but the system works as it is. We also need to bare in mind, that people sometimes NEED to sell players, to stay afloat. Having transfer windows will prevent this. Also, we could all just place ridiculously high clauses for the duration of the window. And then lower the clauses immediately after. I think it could be exciting, but it would deeply alter the dynamic of this game. |

His salary would be somewhere from 6k to 16 depending upon his fiedility , moreover you spend less then 150k on players that is lesser then even sponsor bonus for winning a game. Transfer window idea. the idea is interesting but it ain't so gr8. Suppose you see a player @ very low hoistle clause with high training. and hoistle him. when the owner of that player logs in and sees that u hoistle his player then he uses the transfer window over bids you.This saving his player. After some time he lowers the clause of his player back to the normal clause.Thus Keeping the player @ the same clause. This would make Hoistling impossible against active users. Some clever user would pay there players very very very less and if you hoistle their player they would just over bid you and latter set the release clause back to the original price. I think it should stay as it is. Except for one little exception: I would like to see a rule, that You cannot hostile players from Your own league for the last 3 games of the season, to prevent effecting directly games of rivals for promotion or relegation. |
