FC Savlje VS The Golden Compass (6:1) Review http://uk.strikermanager.com/partido.php?id=5435822&accion=simul This was a game by my old pal—The Golden Compass(GC), I just wanted to analysis this game to encourage him to get confidence as round 2 won 4:0. You know, I felt history repeated itself when I finished this game, In this season of Premier league, MU lost to MC with 1:6, and at the last 5-6 minutes, MC had 3 score, at the same, Savlie used his “anti-OT” formation at 60’, and then had another 3 score. But now, who is the first in the league? MU, right? GC, keep it up and go go go.. Let’s look at a Stat. 2004 European Cup statistics show that 44.1% of the goal from an organized attack, the goal of 20.3 percent from the counter-attack, the goal of 35.6 percent from the positioning ball. 2006 World Cup statistics show that 47.1% of the goal from an organized attack, the goal of 20.3 percent from the counter-attack, the goal of 32.6 percent from the positioning ball. What about this game? There are seven goals in this game, let’s review one by one. The first, wonderful freekick –The positioning ball The second, decent freekick- The positioning ball The third, UNLUCK deference error –Counter-attack The fourth, direct freekick --The positioning ball The fifth, corner-- The positioning ball The sixth, deference error –Counter-attack The seven, solo show-- Counter-attack Do you trust 57.1% goals are positioning ball? Will you pay more time on adjust your free kick? Yes, I will do, as a matter of fact, I have lost positioning ball in three league games in a row, 2 freekick and 1 penalty, DAMN. For the goal 3 and goal 6, I think it’s a little dangerous to use short pass in deference, your opinions are welcome. And, GC, I think you should put your deference line behind the ball if you used trap here, especially for goal 6. It seemed you put your MDF at the end, that resulted in the failure of making trap. It’s questionable. The goal 7, it’s classic goal to against trap, A high speed attacker rushed an half of field and then score, actually, I had two goals like that in round 3 by my LIM(Speed 85). So, I think high speed players like LM/RM or LIM/RIM even RW/LW are tools to against trap, and now, I’m consider whether RDF/LDF could be used to against trap since they has 80+ speed.. Bear in mind, it’s the most dangerous to use the same formation twice in a row, especially in Div1, that maybe explain why GC had 16 offsides, I don’t know whether GC had done homework, but Savlie prepared fully. And Marco Basler(3goals) with high speed was MVP in this game. Mercs, please check the speed of your rival’s player before you put your deference line very high. |

Great review. Thanks a lot pal. One problem I have been noticing is that if I have 2 DFM and 1 CDF, no matter how I adjust the zonal vs. man-to-man defense bar, one of my DFM will always go deep into defense and thereby nullifying my offside trap. So recently I have been experimenting a 2-6-2 formation in which the CDF was replaced by an IM. It seems some people in Div. 1/2 are already using a similar formation (as well as FC Savlje). Does any of you have experience with this formation? The other thing I noticed in this game is that my strikers are placed a little bit too forward. Around 70% of my offsides were due to my strikers being a bit behind the defenders. Another 15% were due to my LIM/RIM passing forward to my LF/RF when no one was in front of them. I think I will have to customize formation for each team this season. Wish you guys the best of luck in your own division! |

ya man , someone using offside trap , u need to place all mid attackers on the same line , so they wouldnt pass to each other in offside postion if ur opponent didnt play OT , u can place ur attackers a bit forward from ur mids and as i understand IM as cdf? why ? my cdf is doing a great job,65 ( always 75+ rating ) |

I actually analyzed his previous game and that was why I put my strikers a bit forward. But he used a different formation when he played against me. My CDF has a 75+ rating too, but rating doesn't mean much. What I have observed is that my CDF tend to screw up the positioning of my DFMs. |

akleb, do you play a high wing to mid ratio in your tactics? I am wondering if I can use my LIM/RIM as wings. | 06/04/2012 01:35 |

Maybe he knew you formation, I don't look at his previous game, but you gain so many trap in this game. And , do you notice that he changed new formation at 60', it named anti-trap? He performed better after that, Check my last league game, my rival changed his formation as "rishu5", I think they are sharing formation in group, actually, rishu had said they had a group and only share formation within group, Mercs, should we do the same thing? I will focus 442 in this season, and you? Langkymus said: I actually analyzed his previous game and that was why I put my strikers a bit forward. they do share formations. and we must do that as well. Should we have a forum somewhere OUTSIDE where only mercs can log in so that we can keep all important information such as hostile links, high progression junior link, Formations and tactics ? it is tough to ask every time but i think we can mention all by default in the Forum |
