their numbers have reduced drastically. Used to be a common sight 10 years ago.... Apart from the valid reasons laid out in that article.... I think Uru has been importing them and eating a few everyday. Shame on you Uru

On a serious note: we need to save these beautiful little birds, its not just in India, but a worldwide phenomenon. First step to conserve them starts from us.

look people leave pesticides and fertilisers they suck use natural manure and natural pesticide and get some blue green algae.
NO you cant do this?
the only one option left. clone those sparrows to increase there population!

yeah sparrows have disappeared at a rate more than run rate of cris gayle or virender seywag...............earlier there used to be quite a lot of 'em but now only few r visible here now.............but good news people there r still quite a few of them here .....maybe all hope is not lost for them n for uru (he can still taste a few of them). 04/04/2012 13:20
