ffs. that's ridiculous. how hard can it be to code this: when playing down the field - (attacker x-axis) value less than (defender x-axis) when ball passed forward then = offside. i'm not a programmer, but i just can't see why this is so difficult, compared to complicated stuff like passing, movement, shooting, etc etc. |

actually that logic worked fine but when they try to limit the passing of ball to players who are offside it messed up things, Artificial Intelligence is difficult to code as a result u do not know what it will do until it goes through rigorous tests which we, users are doing now on beta sim. Keeping simple offside is easy but limiting the number of offsides is difficult as a single line of code can change the entire way a programme works n it's stability | 29/04/2012 17:41 |
