There's been a consensus for a while that the inflation would decrease if the availability of high prog juniors and better players in general would increase if the 8k rule was taken down. I have an alternative solution. When every team is taken over by a new player, every single one of the old team's players is put on auction. This would give us access to those juniors in the end. It'd also take money out of the game due to people bidding lots and lots of money for great players owned by people who have quit the game. |

agreed completely.. any user or team deleted should be put on auction, with an update from @ in General or Market chat. | 25/03/2012 18:09 |

There's a hell of a lot of deleted teams. You sure this wouldn't just kill off the proper market. | 25/03/2012 19:24 |

That parts fine, it's the sheer quantity of players that you'd get on the market, just 10 new teams a day would create 400 players, but I think there may be a lot more teams than that. | 25/03/2012 20:46 |

Then you release them as free agents, and people who had more than a certain number of supporters, say 3 or 4 thousand, are released on the general market at market price. Or you have a cut off where people over a certain rating are put on the market and people under a certain rating are made available as free agents. Edited by hewhoamareismyself 25-03-2012 22:10 |

Just my opinion, but this is extremely unfair to teams that are not as well established and don't have the financial resources of teams in higher divisions. The newer teams would not be able to compete with the financial resources of the managers that have been around "forever" and earn $5-$10 million per game. As a result, all of these good players would be snapped up by the older teams and create yet more lack of parity. | 26/03/2012 02:31 |
