I'm not really sure this can be called a World Cup. As i recall, the real World Cup is the very best players who call each nation home are put together onto a national team and then play for the glory of the nation. Here, that's not really the case, nor is it possible. If there were some other name for this tournament, then i'd be more on board with it. Some may call that quibbling over the details, but therein lies the devil. Perhaps a name like "Pride of Nations" or some such? |

you are being a little anal moz its open to everyone bar a maximum 8 players, and the world cup is not open to the best players unless they are from a country that is good at football, george best, ryan giggs, eric cantona, george weah, Di Stefano, jonny giles, Bernd Schuster all never played in a world cup and were all in their prime the best in the world. so maybe call fifa and get them to change their name too  |

It's only in the planning stages guys we can sort out who is on which teams and we can merge smaller countries together if needs be, this thread is just here to see if there is enough interest to go forward with it  |
