I Totally don't agree with all these locked up Suggestion thread. What's the point of locking them up , it's not like @admin will look at them and making all the change. We all know that @admin never looking at these suggestion (they just made for fun) 2nd, what made new @ the right to locked them without giving anyone a chance to say anything, for people who paid for the game and they can't speak for themselves. I'm not saying that i payed for this game ( i never payed a cent ) , but for those who pay for it and their thread got locked just because @mod or @fiscal feel like it About all the bugs, i know that there are wayyyyyyy too many bugs. However, aren't we forgetting that bugs have been in this game since the beginning. Why do we have to start the Locking up Suggestion today but not yesterday, or last month or maybe a few seasons ago ? Maybe because some of the @ losing some of their games and their emotion was all over their thought so they decided to acted upon their feeling. This is not good for the whole Community , isn't it ? Maybe this will be Edit , but well , that's my opinion ^_^ |

I completely agree with you, but at times there are some managers who get too emotional on the forums and either up using abusive language or offend someone. So locking a thread might be justified. Even at times I feel the admins/developers hardly even look at the suggestion threads. As for the bugs, its been clearly seen only when @s feel the heat of bugs do they get after the developers life to fix it (not always though). The recent one being the bugs about strikers. When over half the managers on SM complained initially, they were told to adjust tactics, but when @s started loosing they individually shot letters to @rand and other concerned developers at U-play. Why all of a sudden does the REVERT THE UPDATE, suggestion come up?? Managers at all levels of the game have been complaining about bugs, but these bugs either end up on some forum list or even if the @s push it forward to developers, they end up screwing something else up. I understand its not easy to run a online game on 3 different servers, but atleast fix bugs that completely essential for running the game smoothly. Great now the @s have decided to lock up threads on the Suggestion forum. Is to hold the devs to a ransom to fix those bugs. This is getting really stupid. Day by day managers are loosing faith in @s, everytime they pull of stunts like locking threads. For GOD sake get your act together guys. Edited by lucifercave 09-03-2012 02:38 |

just to say the SM "comittee" is too focused on making money of golden balls for example the new "R" thing why make it cost golden balls because if you think about it if a manager gets a high progression player from an excellent or high quality school with low release claue they will look up the forcast either way so they can sell the player for what its worth not something insanely low and if the player has good prog they can sell for even more money and chances are if a player has good forcast and/or progression the manager will rename it by using golden ball to attract other managers attention | 09/03/2012 02:24 |

Nah I support that Uru. I agree that it's unsettling that we've had these bugs in the list for so long and that recent updates have done nothing to fix them. I also agree that the the recent updates that were supposed to fix the offside trap have actually made it more effective. I do agree though that we're all playing the same game. If results aren't going the way they used to for you then you need to adapt. It might be that they revert the recent updates and that's fine, I liked the sim much more before they were introduced but I'm not going to sit around using the same tactics over and over if they aren't working, waiting to get a response. That to me seems counter-productive. I initially supported the idea of closing the suggestions. I'm relieved to see that seems to have stopped for now. It would have been a problem I think if this activity had continued, but the idea of the suggestions thread being useless in this case was the point of the movement and I think that point has been made now. I also think that while it may have been pretty intense at first, the threat of continuing action in this regard is probably all that needed to be said and really, 8 or 9 suggestions being closed doesn't seem to be a big loss in the scheme of things. What's done is done now. For me, while these actions seemed a little aggressive not a great deal of damage has been done really so it's not that bad. Lets all just settle now, wait for the dust to clear and see what happens I hope that the issues are at least addressed in some way, and that those threads were not sacrificed in vain P.S. Makeen, please make use of periods and commas in your posts. Edited by @practicesquad 09-03-2012 02:28 |

To speak to the @ starting losing and then raising a stink, that is not true. We were raising hell in the background for weeks before bubbling over. The anger and frustration has begun to boil and become public more and more over the last 3 weeks. Now we've really had enough. This is not simply because we started losing. and if you look, I think all of us are still in promotion areas. Bluegene is only 1 point out I am fighting for my life, but that would be happening anyway. The revert the update isn't sudden. @cello has been asking for this virulently for almost 2 months. So that is simply not true. Here's the progression. We raise an issue We vigorously raise an issue We email @rand repeatedly and scream and curse in moderator forum Our exceptions boil over slightly into the public forums Our frustration gets to a point where it cannot be contained, and none of us are enjoying the game anymore, all of us have talked about or considered quitting, and we would much rather see improvements and make our significant time time and (in some cases) money worth it. I assure you, if I didn't give a rats ass about this game, or was only out for me, I would not be @ or fiscal. I would use the hours and hours of time I spend doing administrative bull sh!t and kick your ass even more. |

Now, as to locking up the suggestion thread. This started as an offhand comment. But things have escalated because of the frustration level we are feeling. We have done everything in our power to get a reaction from devs, but instead we get an R remover that doesn't even work right. Well, that is crap. I can't say I agree with locking up the suggestion thread completely, but it is quite obvious that the devs neither read nor care about it. Well, the charade is up. And locking the threads/forum up puts a fine point on it. If that's what it takes to get my personal emails returned, then GREAT....DO IT. One thing is true though. If we do not stand as one @, we will surely lose focus or force. So if @grantis or @bluegene go down for their actions, then so do I. And you can take that to the bank. They lose their @, I resign mine. They get banned from the game, I will delete my team. Period. |

Wow first time i seen uru make sense , On a more serious note what does locking the suggestion forum prove? That Moderator and fiscal can turn rogue? I don't see how whoever locked the suggestion forum can get away with not letting people speak, Some community, People have paid good money on this game did @s ask every single person that had paid for this game if locking the forum was ok with them? I think i will leave it at that We all don't like bugs but is turning rogue the way to get anything done. Edited by eamwilson 09-03-2012 03:17 |

I understand its not easy to run a online game on 3 different servers, but atleast fix bugs that completely essential for running the game smoothly. As the instigator of the revert the update campaign, I want you to know the history. I publicly advocated against the slower defenders update from day 1. Check the general forum posts in January. The first day of the stupid strikers update I wrote an email to @Rand asking him to revert the update. He said to give it a little while and I would get used to it. After a couple of weeks of seeing more and more discontent I wrote to @Rand again saying I was not going to get used to it and I was not alone. Only after 2 weeks of no response to that and several threads on the mod forum did I initiate the Revert the Update campaign. I can understand why you might feel I suddenly decided to act after the update affected me later in the season. The truth is that I (and many of the other @) have been advocating behind the scenes continuously since we became @. Most of the time, the behind-the-scenes work has been enough. The primary concern we have is that we've compiled a long list of bugs that are affecting the most users in the top bugs list. Many of these bugs are almost 2 seasons old now, and yet the devs have implemented two giant steps backward in the sim and the Remove R button in the meantime, prioritizing new features (and the new bugs they inevitably bring) over fixing existing critical bugs. One can debate the relative merits of each new sim update, but the fact is that developer priorities do not lie with the most critical issues and we @ are taking all possible steps to accentuate this point. Perhaps today's actions go too far, but please understand that the selfish motivations you ascribe to the @ are way off base. Please post any other questions you have, I and the other @ are happy to answer them to the best of our ability. |

I wish people would stop writing 'before @'s delete this thread' or whatever. We are all different, we all have our own opinions and sometimes go to great lengths to get them out there but when has anyone ever had a post removed because it didn't agree with a particular @? We might get a a little heavy-handed in our ways on occasions but we don't censor peoples opinions, that's not our job and frankly, if it was, I wouldn't be here. We're players of this game just as much as anyone else. That's how we started and that's what we are. We're fortunate enough to be in a position to do something when we feel something's not right and we are constantly trying our best to make this game better for everyone else. It might be a little intense to lock threads down and I'm sure we've p*ssed a few people off, but rest assured we're coming from a good place. I'll be honest I've been back and forth over this in my mind today and I really don't know what the best way to go about it is. If this action means the devs finally sit up and take notice then it will have been totally worth it. For everyone. |

Still cant belive what i read !!! How can you attack @s thinking that they want bugs to be fixed coz they are losing? Lets say you are right...dont you want better gameplay like all of us ? We whine(at least i) for 2 or more months bug to be fixed and now you are not ok with it? @s are our right hand here and they do all the work for us and make our problems to be heard,NOBODY ELSE !!! Put down the ball and lets hope things will be better soon. |
