Of course, Speed should be 'trained' too, but I think it is a little silly that players players in the lower divisions all have poor speed.

There are many inferior players with good speed in real life - Both professionally, and in the lower leagues.

I think Speed should be attributed slightly differently, because some players are super fast at 14 years of age, without any other skills whatsoever

I can see your way of thinking here. It would be cool if players either had speed or didn't. The only problem is there would be no reason to purchase players with low speed, the idea being that you could get a player with the same attributes, who is three times faster. And who would want to spend time training the speed of a player if they didn't have to? 12/02/2012 05:39

But then the demand of such speedy players would be high and that price factor would emerge. People with less financial resources will then resort to training their players to be fast. 12/02/2012 08:31

Maybe, but they would be at a great disadvantage, especially as squad generation is random. 12/02/2012 09:30

You also need to bare in mind, that a player that starts off with 55% speed - Doesn't necessarily have a great forecast!
