If a junior is bought from auction from another team, he should be untouchable to hostiles and auctions automatically for the rest of the season just like a junior who is resigned under the same team. When a junior is resigned a manager can not auction the player and the player can not be hostiled. This should be the same if a junior is bought from an auction. As soon as the transaction is complete he should be untouchable for the rest of the season. | 08/02/2012 14:43 |

You posted this in general and then removed your post. It's not a good idea, if you want to buy and not resign then it's up to you. The current system gives you choice in what you want to do. | 08/02/2012 18:21 |

I deleted it with the more clarified statement. After much debate i figured it should be in the suggestion section seeing how its a problem that should be fixed or looked at. If someone is selling a junior in auction that junior was obviously not resigned i want to know why when a junior is bought he isnt considered automatically resigned to the new team and is left to be auctioned or hostilied. Because he isn't, resigning is a why of protecting juniors you want to keep. If you don't want to make them safe you don't need to. You might as well ask why it's possible to resign juniors at all. |

It would be nice when buying/hostiling a junior to check a box that you want them resigned (protected). Currently it feels stupid to hostile a junior that you want to keep and then turn around and immediately resign them to keep them protected. However, there are certainly cases where you picked them up to quickly flip them and don't want them protected. | 10/02/2012 04:40 |

I then have the option to train him up further and sell him on. Your suggestion does not give me that option. |
