This time i have a busy @GunnerNic with a huge life and gaming experience, thanks to him for sparing his time for us I even took his personal pic  <vijji> Q.Could you explain reason behind ur name pls? <@GunnerNic> oh right...its your interview <@GunnerNic>  <@GunnerNic> Its been a nickname from navy days ( i guesed it  , so this is the reason in his joining the Pirates)<@GunnerNic> and I'm a huge Arsenal fan <@GunnerNic> since I was 5 and Arsenal was the first sticker I collected <vijji> Navy days!!, does it mean u worked in navy? <@GunnerNic> yeah, 5 years...we had mandatory conscription back then <@GunnerNic> I wasnt a Gunner in the navy <@GunnerNic> its a little to do with my on shore activities <@GunnerNic> but I best not say too much....haha <vijji> Well, i heard that u were a tech guy...? <@GunnerNic> yeah, after the navy I backpacked the world for another 5 yrs, then jumped into the IT bubble before it burst <@GunnerNic> worked for 10 yrs as a database engineer for a large bank here in South Africa <@GunnerNic> showing my age now...oops <vijji> so can i say u r a farmer who can wield weapons and also protect our 1's n 0's? <@GunnerNic> exactly <@GunnerNic> still get to shoot vermin  <@GunnerNic> dont play too much with databases anymore...that was as boring as listening to the prime minister talk about the need for more old age homes <vijji> how did happen for a ex marine n techy to develop relation with soil? <@GunnerNic> I dropped out of society <@GunnerNic> kinda went earthy and "Save the planet" touchy feely haha <@GunnerNic> but I found I missed the high life zip <vijji> was this a change that happened due to an incident or was in you from long time? <@GunnerNic> I always wanted to be my own boss <@GunnerNic> but hey, then I got married !! <@GunnerNic> and then I had a new boss ( haha no one can be thier own boss after marriage )<vijji> Well u could have started another business, why agriculture ? <@GunnerNic> I liked the idea of owning my own piece of Africa <@GunnerNic> married in 2003, have 2 kids now <@GunnerNic> boy 4 and girl 7 <@GunnerNic> They love the lifestyle <vijji> are they here on SM? <@GunnerNic> no, daddy is strict! <@GunnerNic> There shall be no SM until you finished university.....hahaha <vijji> bad daddy <@GunnerNic> I've seen how it affects the youngsters playing this game <vijji> yes i was about to ask it <vijji> tell me some thing about your gaming time here <@GunnerNic> I started in Div 6 back in March 2010 <@GunnerNic> and was hooked after someone hostiled one of my players <@GunnerNic> I thought, hey! this I can do.... so started watching the top managers carefully <@GunnerNic> and learnt very quickly <vijji> u r a pro now.. <@GunnerNic> My first friend was Rebsiot and we quickly sussed how the game worked <@GunnerNic> and bought 14yr old juniors that are some of the top forecast players in the game <@GunnerNic> and we've nurtured those players till today <vijji> regarding reb, would u accept his drink request ...? <vijji> in his interview <@GunnerNic>yep thats 100% <vijji> well i will ask the same question i asked him, <vijji> have u befriended any here whom u are in contact outside SM? <@GunnerNic> no, although I nearly went to the world cup rugby and met up with Slipi <@GunnerNic> but flights to NZ are crazy <@GunnerNic> and fully booked at that time <@GunnerNic> Not many south africans playing <vijji> Can i ask when you are going stop expanding your stadium...? <@GunnerNic> I'll like to beat Champos who has an incredible team <@GunnerNic> we meet in Rnd 6 <@GunnerNic> If thats possible, I can go all the way to the final <@GunnerNic> buts thats my biggest hurdle <@GunnerNic> but you cant under estimate any team <vijji> yes looks like there is not going to be a second time winner of that cup <@GunnerNic> you have to play full effort and excellent tactics to go far <@GunnerNic> Is Shengli also out? <vijji> not yet <@GunnerNic> he can win it <@GunnerNic> he has the team to do it if he can get his tactics right <@GunnerNic> I think Reb will go far <@GunnerNic> he narrowly lost to the champion last season <vijji> all we can do is play hard n smart <vijji> isn't it funny to see Uru who was a pro when u were new to be arround even now n u grow to the level of a fiscal? <@GunnerNic> Not sure why Uru is not @ anymore but he was a great help when I started <@GunnerNic> Now he is a great Troll <vijji> hahaah yeah <vijji> what about ur journey to the rank of Fiscal? <@GunnerNic> Its been a interesting one, @ came as a big surprise to be honest <@GunnerNic> and I'm still in 2 minds about the fiscalness™ <vijji> why so?
